Recommendation Brief
Benefits
An internal auditor is a person who works for a company and learns everything about the company and has intricate knowledge of the workings. They will work specifically in one company and be able to concentrate on everything in the company. Auditors can catch problems when they arise and bring them to attention to the people in charge before releasing reports so there are no problems. They also guarantee systems are working correctly and safeguards are in place and working properly. One last thing is that possessing an internal auditor will save company money from having to hire a person to bring in and complete his or her audits.
Qualities
At the very least an internal auditor should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration but some companies prefer a Master’s degree in Accounting. Although the Bachelor’s degree would provide basics and a simple knowledge of the expectations of the person the Master’s would be much more in-depth and cover every area a person would need. In completing an internal audit a person needs to know everywhere to look in the company to find every aspect that affects profits and cause problems. Financial reports present complications and difficulties for the average person to read and understand. A person needs trained on what to look for and where to look. A Master’s program will teach a person what he or she needs to look for and where. It will also give them a platform to build on. They will learn about and what safeguards to check and ensure they are working properly and what systems to check. To give a person more credentials and show he or she has the ability and knowledge to be an internal auditor I believe they should have certification. If they are a certified…...

Creative Brief

...is a Creative Brief In its simplest term Creative Brief is the bridge between smart strategic thinking and great advertising (advertising that involves consumers on both – rational and emotional level, and which is capable of affecting a change in both their thoughts and behavior) and is the key tool with which planners and their account management partners can unlock the talents and imagination of their agency’s creative people. If the Creative Brief is informative, well argued and insightful, then their chances of creating better advertising are increased and the process of doing so is made considerably easier. Main task of Creative Brief is to inform the creative team, and most important to inspire them. To reduce all the information that has been gathered from the client, consumer research and perhaps many other sources and funnel it down to a single, potent idea and from that idea to create a sense of possibilities of great advertising just waiting to happen. So it is at the same time an exercise in synthesis and expansiveness. Please note that it is necessary for Creative Team to be active participant along with the Account Planner and Account Executive. Creative Teams contribution (thinking) at early stages will improve the quality of the brief and act as catalyst for the process of creative development itself. PLEASE NOTE: 1. Client should not participate in Creative Briefing 2. If it’s not relevant to consumers, it’s not relevant to the brief 3. The......

Case Brief

...Horner v. Bourland 724 F. 2d 1142 Case Brief Instructions Please note that, unlike the case you have been assigned, the cases in the text have been stripped down to a fundamental legal issue related to the chapter of study and do not contain much of the procedural aspects you may find in your case. DECIDE ON A FORMAT AND STICK TO IT: Structure is essential to a good brief. It enables you to arrange systematically the related parts that are scattered throughout most cases, thus making manageable and understandable what might otherwise seem to be an endless and unfathomable sea of information. There are, of course, an unlimited number of formats that can be utilized. However, it is best to find one that suits your needs and stick to it. Consistency breeds both efficiency and the security that when called upon you will know where to look in your brief for the information you are asked to give. Be mindful that the operative word is “brief”; ideally the case brief should be about one page in length and never over two pages. Nevertheless, it is important that a brief contain the following: TITLE AND VENUE: Identify the case name and citation in the correct format. RULE OF LAW: A statement of the general principle of law that the case illustrates in the form of a statement. Determining the rule of law of a case is a procedure similar to determining the issue of the case. Avoid being fooled by red herrings; there may be a few rules of law mentioned in the case excerpt, but......

...LaShawn Davis February 20, 2014 Legal Writing Legal Brief Assignment No. 1 FACT: On February 1, Bernie puts an ad in his local newspaper, advertising his 2009 Ford Fusion for sale for a $13,500 asking price. After waiting for a few weeks with no offers, on March 1, Vivian calls him and offers to purchase the vehicle for $12,000. Bernie invites Vivian to meet him on March 5 to complete the negotiation and transaction.  On March 10, after Bernie and Vivian negotiation, Vivian made a counteroffer. She is willing to pay $12,500 for the car; but, she needs another three weeks to raise the money. Bernie agrees to wait, but only if Vivian would put down a deposit of $1,000. Vivian agrees and Bernie hastily drafts a one page agreement. Bernie would like to keep his options open in case he gets a better offer, so he puts the following language into the agreement: * Bernie agrees to sell his 2009 Ford Fusion to Vivian for $12,500 and Vivian agrees to purchase the same for such price. The transaction shall take place no later than March 31.  * In the event that the seller breaches this agreement, the seller must refund the purchaser's deposit, but the parties shall be limited to this remedy and only this remedy.  * In the event that the buyer breaches this agreement, the seller may keep the buyer's deposit, but the seller shall be limited to this remedy and only this remedy.  Vivian reads and signs the agreement and gives Bernie a check for $1,000. Case Brief Method

...Case Brief The case brief (or short-case analyses) consist of four major sections. The length of the assessment should be between three and five pages with “1.5” line spacing and margins of one inch and 12pt. font. You should organize the paper with subheadings corresponding to the four following sections. Avoid bullets – you must make connections and articulate what a factor/issue means in the situation and how it influences other factors/issue and possible actions etc. You must demonstrate relevance. In general, please focus your energy on the content and the quality of your assessment. NOTE: This is not a summary of the case but a true case analysis. 1. Problems statement — please, state the “problem” using one paragraph and a few sentences. Try to be clear, precise and concise. Try to formulate the problem from the perspective of the decision maker by highlighting the decision that must be made, the “tasks” he or she has to perform, and the issues that he or she is facing. 2. Situational analysis — this is the “meat” of the case brief, and as such it should be the longest section of the paper. Please do not just repeat the facts of the case. Discuss, integrate, and synthesize the important factors that have a significant bearing on the case — dismiss unimportant irrelevant information. A very useful tool to make this assessment is the SWOT analysis framework (see Exhibit 1.1 in the book for an illustration). Do not feel that you have to discuss all the......

...few minerals, vitamins, and other nutritional components is much more difficult that I would have guessed, even for just one day! Though I did manage to find the right combination of foods which would provide me the recommended amount of various nutrients in one day, I cannot eat the same thing every day! Planning the one day took research and attention to detail which I have never used toward planning my daily diet before. I was very happy with the result as I got to enjoy three great meals and a few snacks as well (all similar to my normal eating schedule and habits). It was interesting to see that foods I do enjoy and eat regularly can be combined into a one day super-diet! This reassured me that it is completely possible to plan a healthy diet and maintain it because it includes foods I already enjoy. The most shocking aspect of the diet that I noticed while doing this assignment was that my sodium levels were way outside of the recommended range. I knew that lots of food products have crazy amounts of sodium from my athletic trainers and coaches warnings during my participation in high school sports. I realized during this process that I have not done as good of a job at watching out for that as I thought! The sodium was still a part of the recommended diet that I had to work with a lot, so I am now even more aware and will watch out for its presence in food. I was very proud to see I met the fiber requirements, though I cannot say I’m surprised because I’ve......

I don't know whether there's anything in the contract relating to past grievances or time factors, and I will hold that decision in reserve. If there is nothing in the contract that relates to it, then I have no alternative but to allow it in the record for whatever value it has or does not have. On the other hand, if there is something in the terms of the contract that has to do with past grievances or past periods of time, then that that has to have its light in the sun as well. Balanced Scorecard - Executive Brief

...The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Framework, Implementation Methodology and Recommended Application - Executive Brief (April 2012) - Introduction Balanced Scorecard is an integrated, organization-wide management system that drives, in an aligned manner, the transformation, improvement and modernization efforts of all hierarchical levels towards the accomplishment of organization’s Strategy. For this reason, Balanced Scorecard is also known as a Strategy Execution system. More precisely, Balanced Scorecard represents a framework for aligned Strategic Planning and for the consistent management of the organizational and individual performance in the execution of the Strategic Plan. Furthermore, Balanced Scorecard is a communication tool that helps each employee better understand where the Strategy drives the organization, what the plan is for reaching that destination and what their departmental and individual measured contribution is to that convergent effort. With such understanding, the employees – whether directly involved in the planned Strategy Execution, or not – can also change and improve the way they perform their daily jobs through micro-decisions that are both convergent and complementary to the execution of organization’s Strategic Plan. BSC History Balanced Scorecard has been launched twenty years ago as a first set of principles for balanced strategic Objectives and Measures/KPIs setting and measurement. The “parents” of Balanced Scorecard are Dr. Robert S.......
