...Current Economic State Essentials of Personal Finance Keyshunda Howard University of Phoenix November 18, 2012 Abstract As I began my research I found chief economist Jan Hatzius of the Global Investment Research talk about how the economy is expanding but at a slow rate. The current prime rate for the Wall Street Journal was reported to be 3.25% as of November 14, 2012. The Federal Discount Rate was 0.75,% and the 11th District Cost of Funds was at 1.038 and all of these were updated on the 14th of November. The current interest rates on a fixed credit card stand at 14.0%2 and variable credit cards interest rates are reported to be 14.59%. The United States unemployment rate has increased to 7.9% percent as of October of 2012. As for the state of Alabama the unemployment rate has dropped to 8.1%. The inflation rate had dropped down to 2.16% compared to what it was a year ago. The Gross Domestic Product was at 15775.7% as of November 14, 2012. Based on my study the different rates of the economy can influence a personal financial choice because it can help a person with their planning when it comes to buying a home, a car, or even starting a family. It is good to have credit cards but it is very important to know what the different rates are. When knowing what the rates are can help a person when it comes to buying thing...

According to Hester, et al., (2008), treatment performed but not recorded capture no quality score. Hester, et al., (2008) further elaborates an extenuating circumstance upon which a PCP captures revenue. Hester, et al, (2008), presents a scenario upon which a PCP manipulates measures and outcomes to achieve the highest quality score. Hester, et al., (2008) exemplifies the scenario among Hispanic populations the PCP focuses on controlling high blood pressure without providing culturally sensitive materials to educate the patient. According to Hester, et al, (2008), the PCP exploited the patient for personal gain as opposed to patient outcome. The scenario that Hester, et al. (2008), present portrays subjective versus objective reportable information. The P4P initiative requires a stepped-approach in the delivery of care. However, there are no requirements on the delivery of information except P4P requirements. The algorithm of P4P allows provider interpretation for maximum reimbursement. P4P allows loopholes for PCP maximum allowance without consequence of populations served. When P4P recognizes population variance, rural or disadvantaged communities, underinsured or noninsured populations and those who provide care, the equation of the health care P4P algorithm may establish equilibrium among rural, underserved, and underinsured......

...importance of personal data protection online. What potential problems are there and what solutions are available to the individual? Various researchers have evaluated the importance of the Internet, but little attention has been paid so far to online personal data protection. (Donald et.al, 1997) The purpose of this study is to introduce some potential problems of the Internet, the importance of online personal data protection and some solutions. The paper is structured as follows: the first section will present some background of the Internet, the second part will show some potential problems, and the third part will introduce the importance of online personal data because of the potential problems. Finally, this paper will introduce some available solutions. At present, the Internet has become an indispensable part of people’s daily life, because it can be used to communicate and do business with others. For example, “in 1996, Internet shopping revenues for U.S. users, excluding cars and real estate, were estimated by Jupiter Communications, an e-commerce consulting firm in New York, at approximately $707 million but are expected to reach nearly $37.5 billion by 2002” (Achs, 1998). However, a lot of problems of the privacy of personal information have caused people's concern and make them less confident about the Internet. The first potential problem that causes people’s concern is cyber-thief, because it is one of the most convenient method to obtain personal......

...Brandon Kasinger Tmgt-3347 10/27/2014 Personal Ethics Ethics is what truly defines a person or company. In our world today, everyone is governed by a complex of moral principles and values in which they believe in. That’s why everyone in the world is unique we all have different codes of ethics that make us the individuals that we are. We all have different opinions of what is right and what is wrong. Did you think it was right when Germany invaded Poland? Well Hitler certainly did. But why do we think differently? What makes a person different from one another? What makes me, ME? What you personally believe is morally good and the values that you have as an individual is known as personal ethics. Each individual’s personal ethics are defined by what they have gone through and their past experiences. I believe the biggest impact on a person’s ethics is how they were raised and this is because of the impact my parents had on me. My mom always told me honesty was one of the most important qualities a human being could have. She believed that honesty was what people use to build any relationship. By being honest you will make those around you feel as if they are exposed to your true self. Thus, making them assured that you truly value their relationship and make a bond long lasting. By her definition a lie will put a relationship, rather it be business or person, in jeopardy. For instance, when I was in high school I lied to my mother about staying after school to......

...Individual personal statement Over the course of the facilitation module I have learnt many things, whether it be through work in class, through my own wider reading or my own personal experiences being a participant. One thing that has become clear through my reading of Boal's games for actors and non-actors is that facilitation is a platform to allow anyone to experience drama. I found this very interesting as using facilitation in this way shows the positive ways in which drama can be used. I felt that this was an important idea, especially as the purpose of our workshop was to bring drama to an age group that might not have had a chance to experience it. Although our group was not on the same calibre as the groups that Boal's in the theatre of the oppressed it is still just as important for them to experience drama, “Even if they had all been homogeneous groups I feel that this introduction would have been necessary” (Boal,1992) this clearly shows that it is important that we use facilitation in this way. Although I missed a section of this module, due to health reasons, I feel that I have tried my best to put in an equal effort towards to outcome as my peers. I have tried to use my own experiences being a participant in workshops myself and also my experience being a facilitator at a local drama school to influence my decisions in the planning and development process. As I was working with children of a similar age, I felt that this influenced the way I worked in this...

...MSc Leading Learning and Change Quantative Analsyis Assignment: Personal Reflection Serren Callister 106533 The following document outlines the process that was followed to complete the quantitative assignment during different stages and my learnings and reflections throughout. Learning Statistics: I was extremely concerned initially about the quantitative (statistics) aspect of the course, as I had struggled to fully comprehend the purpose and power of statistics and result interpretation during my initial bachelor degree. I was relieved when the first lesson contained material I did remember and understand! After the first session it became apparent that prior exposure to statistics varied across the cohort, requiring repeated explanations using different analogies which each member of the cohort assisted with to ensure that we all understood each option presented. I felt that the introduction of different statistical concepts in each session was disjointed but individually manageable. However, it wasn’t until during the assignment that I understood how the various statistical methods could be applied to a single data set to provide meaningful results. It would have aided my understanding to have built the statistical methods being studied into an overall framework as it was difficult to understand how each of the statistical models could help build up a picture and be used to determine findings in conjunction with other methods. For example,......
