Why do you want to intern at JSW?*
Getting an opportunity to work under your guidance would help me exercise my engineering skills and I might come up with good results or ideas during the course of internship. I have a biological background but I want to create my career in different to my core companies, so I want an Intern in JSW.
Describe a situation (at university or elsewhere) in which you have found a creative or "out-of-the-box" solution to a problem?*
In our cultural festival Antragani’11 I am secretory of Dance competitions, there was a situation when some misunderstanding between a college team and us (Dance hosts), and that team wants to leave the competitions. They wanted that we provide them some extra facilities, if they leave then the level of competition will go down. So that time I take an initiative and talk to them and clear the misunderstanding. I tell them peacefully that this is out of the rules and if we provide them then this is cheating with the other teams.

What are your strengths and weaknesses? (Limit your answer to two each)*
I have soft feelings for helpless people, for others this is a weakness but for me this is my strength. For example I start an initiative called ‘Gehan Adhyan Kendra’ with the help of some other students, in which we teach helpless students that they at least get a normal job.
My biggest weakness is that I am easily believe in people, but I am trying to solve this weakness.

My other strength is that I am doing any work with proper preparation, and I am easily left it.

Use the space below to tell us anything you think is necessary for us to know while considering your application? (Optional)
As I mention that my CPI is low but I am a hardworking student, and I will prove it when I will get this…...

Analysis of a Lesson with an Intern Perspective

...ANALYSIS OF A LESSON WITH AN INTERN PERSPECTIVE Episode: On Tuesday, When I enter the 7B class in a Public School with the teacher, the students welcomed me with a smile face and they raced with each other to share their seats with me. I also smiled them and went back to seat near a girl sitting alone. The lesson was about central tendency and spread measurement units. First of all, the teacher asked the class some questions about central tendency measurement such as what is the meaning of mean, mode and median. She tried to catch up the students who were not interested in the lesson, have misconceptions and seem not to understand basic part of the topic. She controlled them by using question answer method. She wrote a question from the student work book about bar graph interpretation. After drawing the graph, she asked them how many people who gain the least salary there are by reading the graph. Then, she asked them to calculate mean of the total salaries which number of people given. One or two students listed each salary as only one person gains it. However, on the graph there were two people who gains 500 and five people who gains 1500, for example. The teacher could not aware of the students’ faults. She said “yes right”. After a while, she asked the class there was anybody who was aware of the fault and asked them to explain why they had fault. But nobody was aware of this fact. One student said that “May be our prospective teacher can say our fault”.......

Exploiting Interns

...RUNNING HEAD: Unpaid Internships Exploiting Students: Harsh Reality of Unpaid Internships In the article “Jobs Few, Grads Flock to Unpaid Internships,” Stephen Greenhouse writes about the harsh reality of internships in the United States (2012). Greenhouse, the labor and workforce reporter for The New York Times, explains in his article the specific stories of unpaid interns and lawsuits filed against companies who did not compensate these individuals. The internship programs that Greenhouse reports on oppress both women and men with unfair work expectations and poor opportunities for advancement. With the help of this article and other supporting materials, I will clarify the relationship between these unpaid, exploited students and the material covered in my Women Studies class. In the article, Greenhouse points out that since 1985, the unemployment rate for graduates twenty-four years old and younger has risen 9.4 percent (Greenhouse, 2012). Speculators estimate that this number is increasing so rapidly because of students’ willingness to work for free in internship positions. The article explains this phenomenon stating that many students feel this is the best way to get a foot in the door with a possible future employer. More and more businesses are refusing to hire students who have not completed an internship program. However, Greenhouse explains that even after the completion of an interning program, many students are left uneducated about the type......

Apple heeft een aantal kernwaarden. Deze kernwaarden zijn volgens Apple: Simplicity, Mastery, Choice, Excellence. Apple maakt haar producten waar simpelheid voorop staat.
