Course Project Walt Disney and Netflix

Course Project Proposal
For my course project I choose Walt Disney and the Netflix companies. I choose these two companies because I believe they are both going through significant changes in the way they are offering forms of the entertainment they provide. How they respond to the external forces that are requiring them to change has been different based on their resources and the demand their customers have. One company has many years of providing entertainment to many generations who value their judgment delivering quality products through many different mediums. The other company is new to the entertainment providing industry and has changed how businesses in that industry think about what their customers need based on the changes in the new technology developed in the past few years.
For Walt Disney the changes will be how to maintain a quality relationship with the generations of customers who have purchased their movies in different formats that are no longer adaptable in the newest technology. Can they convince the owners of the video tapes that ownership of their products in other formats is still the answer?
For Netflix the changes include a system that goes against the need to own the products, but trust that they will provide the entertainment they want when and where they want in a constantly changing environment on many different devices. Can the needs of the generation that is on the go have their entertainment and select the pricing that makes sense.

The Change Analysis
Walt Disney Company has gone through many changes throughout its history starting in 1920. Walt Disney Company is known to millions of people worldwide as a leader in family…...

...Course Project Author Note This assignment is being submitted on September 5, 2013, for N235/CET2629 Section 02 Cisco Networking Fundamentals and Routing course. Course Project Assuming that the router (R1) connecting the NOC to the outside world is configured with an IP address of 154.78.0.1 is directly linked to router (R2) with IP address 154.78.0.244 complete the following: Explain the steps required to configure router R1 and R2 to use Frame relay your explanation should include the commands used. Frame relay is fairly simple to configure. Remember that by default, Cisco uses High-level Data Link Control (HDLC) as a serial link encapsulation. This is a proprietary encapsulation and can only be used if you’re connecting two Cisco routers with a point-to-point link. Frame relay allows you to connect multiple vendors’ routers because of the frame relay standards created. The configuration of each router is very simple and looks something like this: R1 Router>enable Router#config t Router(config)#hostname R1 R1(config)# interface serial 0 R1(config-if)#ip address 154.78.0.1 255.255.0.0 R1(config-if)#no shutdown R1(config-if)#exit R1(config)#exit R1# R2 Router>enable Router#config t Router(config)#hostname R2 R2(config)#interface serial 0 R2(config-if)#ip address 154.78.0.244/255.255.0.0 R2(config-if)#no shutdown R2(config-if)#exit R2(config)#exit R2# The two routers can now communicate point to point. If a company had large......

Project \ Update Project \Select \ OK What’s the new projected completion date? After we look at Earned Value below, we will have to do something about this issue. In the Tracking Gantt – Earned Value view, use the project file to perform your Earned Value Analysis as described on the Project Tab under Course Home. Use the project file and your analysis to complete the Project Status Report which you will be submitting to the CP3 DropBox. View \ Tables \ More Views \ Earned Value As mentioned above, the project at this future date shows that our project is not performing very well. Analyze the project and report on it. Make your changes The good news is you are given the opportunity to make some changes to the project to still complete it on the desired date of 12/19/08. You can do this by analyzing the critical path activities and then making changes to the project to pull the date in. Make your changes, for example to resources. Introduction Product innovation and marketing are the only enduring competitive advantages that companies can use to survive and thrive in the marketplace. ...Course project part one Development of the Boeing 787 dreamliner Risk analysis paper Devry University Session summer 07/27/2011 PM 595 Class Professor: Yvone Hobbs Zhi yang D03295957 Cell phone: 5109968507 Email address: yangzhi0315@163.com Introduction The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a long-range, mid-size wide-body, twin-engine jet airliner developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. It seats 210 to 330 passengers, depending on the variant. Boeing states that it is the company's most fuel-efficient airliner and the world's first major airliner to use composite materials for most of its construction. So, what actually went wrong with one of the most innovative company in the world? Boeing might have underestimate the supply chain concept for its complex program while attempting to introduce an innovation in the new business model and innovate in product and assembly all at the same time. Supply Chain Problem Historically, like most aerospace companies, Boeing designed all critical airplane subsystems, such as wings and fuselages itself, and contracted and dealt directly with suppliers. The company receives delivery of parts directly from build-to-print suppliers, and assembled and integrated the final product itself. So, beginning with the 787, Boeing decided to transform itself from a vertically integrated enterprise that does most of its own product design, supplier management, manufacturing, and integration into a more virtual enterprise spreading the......
