...Jason Fordyce Sherri Foster English Composition September 25, 2012 Two Descriptions Paper Description 1-Positive Effect It was a bright radiant fall morning as I sat contemplating the day. The aroma of pumpkin spice and fresh ground coffee beans made me realize what a awe-inspiring, relaxing corner I was sitting in. The whiff of the sweet morning danishes and breakfast sandwiches filled my nose with cheer. Creamy sweet and salty blended frappuccinos are being sipped on. There is a buzz of others laughing and chatting over the calming music in the atmosphere. Others are happily engaged on their laptops, working and studying material using the free wifi that is provided. All of the baristas are diligently working to fulfill the the orders of the other individuals in the cafe. The warm and rough caress of the cup in my hand makes me take pleasure and be thankful for sparkling mornings such as these. Description 2-Negative Effect As I sit in the loud bustling of the morning crowd I can’t help but be drowned out by the boisterous music coming from within. The rustle and high pitched giggles of the people around me babbling about their previous rendezvous keeps me from my train of thought. The bitter stench of caffeine and over cooked pastries has the baristas baffled as they strive to accommodate the sleep deprived individuals walking through the door. The overpopulated number of people mingling amongst themselves have taken over the tables and chairs and have......

...Concordia outsources the support of their wide area network to SkyNet. Many organizations are now considering outsourcing their current wide area network due to the numerous benefits of letting experts manage the IT infrastructure. “IT administrators are quickly realizing that the headaches associated with managing the WAN are overwhelming their current staff, and that their budget doesn’t allow for bringing additional people on board. Due to the economics and complexity of the situation, it’s no surprise that many businesses are looking for an outside resource to manage the physical hardware and software applications that make up their WAN.” With the migration of a network, the business will want to limit downtime so that the business units within the organization do not suffer any outages due to the migration. Concordia has put in expectations that the business unites can only allow 1 hour of downtime during the weekend for the complete migration to the new infrastructure. This puts a limit and a constraint on the project team to limit the downtime for this project. Another constraint of the project is the retention of key technology based resources. Its in the experience of SkyNet that when IT resources see a manage service provider come in to transfer over support, many of the key technical resources tend to look for other jobs therefore losing technical expertise. When key resources leave, they tend to take the legacy application or network information......

Each panel is rated by its DC output power under standard test conditions. Solar panels use light energy (photons) from the sun to generate electricity through the photovoltaic effect. Here at the site, 12 solar panels each of 250 Watts have been used. SOLAE CHARGE CONTROLLER: Since the brighter the sunlight, the more voltage the solar cells produce, the excessive voltage could damage the batteries. A charge controller is used to maintain the proper charging voltage on the batteries. As the input voltage from the solar array rises, the charge controller regulates the charge to the batteries. They also stop batteries from getting overcharged and a reverse flow from batteries to solar panels during the night. The process currently used is based on power optimising concept. Every panel has its own independent CCU that has been connected to all other CCU on a comm link to the remote monitoring unit. The output power of every CCU is connected with the battery to charge it. Hence even if one panel/CCU fails the others continue to operate at their independent......
